Thanksgiving Outfit

  

I know all families are different but I’m curious, did your family dress up for Thanksgiving dinner or was it okay to go to the table casually dressed?  Growing up we weren’t expected to be in our Sunday best but we’d never dream of showing up to the dinner table in sweats.  My mom worked all day in the kitchen cooking and felt it was a sign of respect to dress nicely before sitting down together.  That being said, this is my Thanksgiving look.  It’s comfortable without being sloppy, hopefully my mom would approve!

Classic

I’m sharing classic go-to outfit that’ll keep you warm on a chilly fall day.  I don’t think I realized it until I started linking each piece of clothing to my site but I’m wearing a lot of Gap clothes today.  I love, love, love the Gap!  I think they’ve got some great affordable pieces that are flattering to so many different body types.  Plus they’re one of the only places to shop in Auburn so when I’m in need of a little retail therapy and want to be in the store that’s where I tend to go, unless I have time to head into Atlanta which needs to happen soon!

Glammed Up Camo

This outfit is inspired by my son Billy, he’s obsessed with everything Military.  He’d dress head to toe camo if I let him, thank goodness I still have a say when it comes to what he wears to school (after school is another story).  When I saw this t-shirt at Target it made me think of him and I had to get it.  I added a cute cardigan and a statement necklace to glam it up a bit.  And can we talk about these booties?  I saw these on the Nine West website and had to have them, I’m obsessed!

Fall Style

Isn’t fall so beautiful!  I’m loving the leaves on the ground, all the colors, the crisp air, and just the aroma and spirit that comes along with this time of year.  If this outfit doesn’t scream fall I don’t know what does, now I feel like I need to go bake a pumpkin pie and drink some apple cider.

lumberjack

While shopping at Target I came across this Shaun White flannel shirt in the boys department and had to have it.  Yes, the boys department!  I love Shaun White clothes for my boys and maybe I’m loving it for me too.  I’m a fan of this lumberjack style and I like how it fits so it’s a win-win!  They have some other really cute styles and clothes for a great price and if you have the Cartwheel app you can get 20% off Shaun White clothes, it’s a perfect time to stock up for Christmas!
