I haven’t blogged in forever and I’ve missed it so much!  Since moving to Chicago we’ve been busy settling into our house, new schools, and community.  I’ve pretty much hibernated through the winter but the sun is out, the temps are rising, and I’m more than ready to get back to blogging.  Hopefully I’ll be a bit more consistent this time around!  Hope y’all are doing well, I’ve missed you tons!

I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging (almost two months) and I’ve missed it so much!  We’ve been beyond busy around here and things aren’t exactly slowing down but I’m ready to blog again, even if it’s only a couple days a week for now.

About two months ago Joel accepted a new job up in Chicago and he’s been commuting back and forth so I’ve been a single mom while he’s gone.  I can’t complain, I’m a stay at home mom and my kids aren’t babies so it’s really not that bad.  My hats off to every working, single mother out there, I don’t know how you do it!

I’ll be busy packing boxes and keeping up with my kids schedules over the next month but to keep from living in workout clothes I’ll try to put a couple outfit posts up a week.

Dressed Up

 

Today I’m sharing a basic Sunday outfit I wore to church yesterday.  I’ve seen this skirt on a few bloggers but because of the low price I was sure it would be cheap but my mom talked me into ordering and I’m so happy I did, I really like it!  It’s nice and thick, it’s lined, and it’s really comfortable.  I definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!

PINK

I still can’t believe the holidays are over!  The kids went back to school today so I guess it’s back to reality and time to be on our schedule again which means I’m back to blogging.  I’ve worn a lot of red over the holidays and am ready to soften things up with pink.  Pink is a favorite color of mine, it’s just so pretty!
