Spring Makeup

Spring Makeup on I wanted to share some of my go-to makeup for spring, I seriously can’t live without any of this!  I’ve always loved makeup and have fun trying new things.  Some I’ve used forever and some are new favorites.  Hope you enjoy!

Clarins Radience-Plus Golden Glow Booster:  I recently started using this and I’m obsessed!  I love that you mix this with the moisturizer of your choice.  I tend to break out (bad) when I try new moisturizers so I was thrilled when I learned about this.  It’s so easy to use and you can adjust how dark you want to look by how many drops you add to your moisturizer.  Love it!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer:  This is probably my favorite product EVER!  I can’t go a day without this.  It’s the perfect undereye concealer and the color is fabulous!  Bobbi Brown does an amazing job with her colors, this couldn’t be more perfect and I go through it like crazy!  If you’ve never used this order it now!!!

MAC Prep+Prime CC Loose Powder:  confession, I’ve never used a loose powder until I purchased this a few weeks ago.   Living in the south I feel like my makeup slides off when it’s humid and this is the perfect solution!  I love it and recommend it to everyone!

MAC Bronzing Powder:  I’ve been using this for years and I love, love, love it!  I have it in Golden and it’s the perfect bronzer, it’s not too dark so you don’t over-bronze.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion:  I got a sample of this when I bought the first UD Naked eye makeup palate and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.  I’ve tried tons of different primers (MAC, Nars, and some store brand to name a few) but this is hands down the best!  My eyeshadow never creases and if I forget to wash it off at night (which I don’t recommend) it seriously stays on and looks the same in the morning.  It’s like magic!

Benefit they’re Real!:  This mascara is AMAZING!  It seriously looks like you’re wearing falsies.  I love it and think it’s definitely worth the splurge.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #6:  This is my favorite bright pink.  It’s my go-to lipstick, I could wear it everyday!  It’s the perfect color for spring and summer, time to brighten up and this does just that!

Spring Neutrals

Spring Neutrals on

I’m so happy that it’s Spring!  The weather has been so nice, I’ve been spending all day outside playing and have completely neglected my blog but I’m back!  Here are a few things I’ve been loving for spring.  I love all the pale colors I’ve seen lately and I’ve always been a sucker for neutrals.  Hope you all have a good weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Pink JCrew hat and Converse on Sporty Street Style on Pink JCrew hat and Moto Jacket on decided to change it up and wear my new hat and some tennis shoes today.  Kind of a fun look for a change.  I’m obsessed with this hat!  I love it so much that I wanted one for Elle too so my mom grabbed one and bought it for her.  I love the pop of pink, maybe it’ll help make this cold, gloomy day not so depressing!

leopard sweater and frye boots on sweater and black scarf on sweater, black Frye boots and a Louis Vuitton bag on I was in Utah last week my mom and I went shopping almost everyday.  We had so much fun together and ended each day with sore feet, a cranky toddler and a trunk full of bags.  I had so much fun shopping in Salt Lake City, it’s changed so much since I lived there years ago!  This week I’ll be posting some of my favorite finds.

I found this leopard sweater at Anne Taylor Loft for $5.  Yes, it was on sale for $5!!!  There were so many amazing sales, it’s definitely a great time to shop!  Hope you’re all having a great week, go shop and get some great deals!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks around here.  I was in Utah for the past week celebrating the life of my Grandpa and enjoying the company of my extended family.  Tommy came along with me and we left the big kids at home with Joel.  I wish I would have taken some pictures while we were gone but we were so busy that the camera didn’t come out once!  I managed to steal the picture below from my little brothers phone.  The day after my Grandpa’s funeral my parents, brothers, my 96-year-old Grandma, Tommy and I all went to lunch together and had the best time.  I’m so happy I was able to see family and remember the life of my Grandpa.

Day Family on

When Tommy and I flew back home our little family decided to go to the Georgia Aquarium.  We had a fun time in Atlanta together and seriously need to go there more often.  I’m so happy to be home and reunited with my little fam, I missed them so much!  Here are a few of my favorite pics from the aquarium…

Hope you all had a good weekend!
